Droid Phone Can’t Connect to Exchange 2010, But Others Can

You get something like “Failed to create the account, please try again later.” The crazy thing is, it accepts lyour ogin and moves to the screen with the email, contact, and calendar checkboxes. When you hit finish, THEN it fails.

It’s a security/permissions issue in Active Directory.

• Log into the server and go to Start, Admin Tools, Active Directory Users and Computers.
• Click View and enable Advanced Features
• Open the properties of the user in question.
• Go to the Security tab and click Advanced.
• Check the box to inherit permissions from the parent.
• Click Apply.
• Wait a few minutes and test.
